Chicken fajitas

Fajitas

Today I would like to share with you all a recipe that I made recently. I talked about it in the blog about my birthday. This recipe is for fajitas. Fajitas are a Mexican dish. You can use beef or chicken for the meat, but I chose chicken. Fajitas are one of my favorite Mexican foods, so I wanted to share with you all how to make them.

First, the ingredients you will need are; 1 big chicken breast, tortillas, one red pepper, one yellow pepper, one half of an onion, one avocado, one lime, one lemon, barbecue sauce, sour cream, spinach, fajita spices, and guacamole spices. Sometimes you cannot find tortillas, fajita spices, or guacamole spices at your local supermarket, but you can definitely find them at Kaldi or another international supermarket.

Next, you need to prepare everything. First, cut your chicken into strips. Then put the strips in a bowl and add the fajita seasoning. Mix well with your hands and then squeeze half a lemon over the chicken. After you have done this, add some olive oil to a pan and fry the chicken. After he chicken is fried, stirfry the peppers and onion. If you want to add a little flavor, I recommend worcestershire sauce, which can also be found at Kaldi.

After the vegetables are done, you can move to the avocado. Smash the avocado until it is a paste. Then squeeze half a lime over it and also add the guacamole seasoning. Next, microwave the tortillas just a little so they can fold easily.

Next you are ready to put together your fajita. You can start with some sour cream and barbecue sauce on the tortilla. Then add some spinach (preferably baby spinach). After that, add a few veggies and some strips of chicken. Last, put a little guacamole on it. Make sure not to use too much of the ingredients or the tortillas will not close! Finally, you can enjoy your food!
