My trip to kamakura

Today I would like to write about my trip to kamakura. I went to kamakura last weekend with some of my friends. I went to yuigahama and also to Eishouji. It was a really nice day.

First, we went to the beach around lunchtime. There were many people there, but since it is a big beach, there was plenty of space for everyone. It didn't feel so crowded. We jumped around and swam in the waves for a little while. However, it was really windy, so there was a strong current. I got pulled out one time by the current. I swam for 5 minutes to try and get back to the shore, but I wasn't able to. After 6 minutes, I hadn't moved at all. After that, I was able to get back to the shore though. It was really scary for me.

Also, since the wind was blowing really hard, we couldn't relax on the beach. Sand was blowing in our faces and hitting our bodies. It was actually a little painful. We decided that we shouldn't stay at the beach too long, so we went to Eishouji, which is the temple that has the bamboo forest.

Once we got there, we realized there were not many customers. We went in but we didn't see any other people looking around. It was actually very peaceful. I liked being able to explore the temple without feeling like I had to rush to get out of the way of others.

We all took many pictures at the temple. Then, we decided to get dinner. We had Chinese food, and we had dumplings that were huge! They were really delicious. After that, we decided to go home, because we all live about 2 hours away from Kamakura. I got home and I was exhausted, but it was a really nice day. Have you been to yuigahama or Eishouji before? How was it?
