The blog for this week is going to be something about me! I’m going to tell you all about my weekend. It was a really fun weekend for me so I thought I would share. Sunday, I was going to go do my first shrine visit of the New Year, but it was rainy and cold. My friend and I decided that we probably shouldn’t go outside. We decided to go to an aquarium and a cat café instead.
The aquarium we went to is Aqua Park in Shinagawa. It was really nice. Even though the aquarium was a bit small compared to some aquariums in the U.S, there were many things to see and even shows to watch! My friend and I watched a dolphin show. It was really amazing. The dolphins did many different kinds of tricks. My favorite thing they did was flipping. They jumped out of the water and spun around in the air. It was really cool and they really jumped high!
We also saw a sea lion and a seal show. They did cute things like wave to the crowd and clap. They also balanced on their front flippers. One seal even caught rings around her neck! They were really cute.
The last thing I really liked was the jellyfish room. There were many columns set up in the room with many jellyfish in each one. The colors in the room also changed so the jellyfish looked like they were changing color. It was really nice.
After the aquarium, we went to a cat café. However, none of the cats were very friendly. They did not like to be petted and they wouldn’t come near you. We didn’t stay for very long because it was a little bit boring. Overall, I had a really fun day though! Here are some pictures!
